| Del Hanson Mark Pursley - 8/9/2014 Thanks to whoever posted the Del Hanson lecture on modern philosophy. I took Modern Philosophy with Dr. Hanson at Biola in 1975. He was a courageous Christian- when an group came to campus in 1974 presenting a lecture on biblical opposition to abortion, Del Hanson ripped their arguments to shreds the following day. It showed me the power of critical thinking. Later, I took his modern phil class and eventually became a philosophy professor myself. | |
| Re: Del Hanson Rob Sivulka - 8/21/2014 You're welcome Mark! During my Intro class with Del, he said I was the cockiest student he's ever had! :) We became good friends and I obviously continued to take more of his classes... even became a TA for him at one point. | |
