I'm not sure who or what Satan is, but it is obvious to me that a spirit of evil does exist in this world. Calling that spirit Satan is okay I guess. Could such a spirit of evil be leading you toward Jesus? This just doesn't make sense. The spirit of evil is absolutely opposed to peace, love, and forgiveness, some of the most important attributes of Christ. On the contrary, you are trying to look out from a dark place into the light. For anyone to think or believe that Satan is pulling you in the wrong direction would make me wonder whether they themselves are actually involved with the father of lies Deception is one of the best weapons that Satan has to use against Christians. I don't understand why evil exists, but we hear about it and see it on TV every day. You're on the right path. And the truth will set you free. May God bless your search. -Wayne
