Dear Family and Friends,

God has really come through for this upcoming nation-wide outreach to the LDS community. With just a couple weeks notice, many of you were so moved to help us. Thank you so very much! This is an exciting opportunity we have, but we still need your continued prayers for workers and for the LDS that will be reached by this project.

As for site updates, our CourageousChristianUnited.org posted a new blog on Tom Cruise. Scientology is putting him on par with Jesus Christ. As for MormonInfo.org, we are in the process of reformatting it to categorize things easier and to create more traffic from search engines. As for my MySpace site, I had a pretty interesting email exchange with a sharp Mormon guy on my blog there. It was over the issue of baptism, and whether it is really necessary for salvation. One of his arguments was based on Mark 16:16. I had to pull out the big guns with personal emails from two Dallas Theological Seminary professors--Daniel Wallace and Darrel Bock--to demonstrate that this Mormon used a dubious text in order to substantiate his belief.

I also started The Dallas, TX Ex-Mormon Meetup Group. This is a support group that will have its first meeting on March 3rd. We already have a handful of members, so this is looking very promising.

Your financial contributions and prayers make this ministry possible. We need your continued support. Please see our "Invest" page on either MormonInfo.org or here at CourageousChristiansUnited.org for how you can get involved. I also need your help in getting myself into your church to share about the cults. This allows increased growth to our financial support base in introducing new potential contributors to this ministry. Thank you so much for your concern and prayers for this ministry, and for those trapped by false religions and philosophies.

Hello Rob, I am a Master's student at Mount St. Mary's school in Los Angeles, CA. I stumbled upon your site by accident this evening and I am really enjoying reading it! I am writing my thesis on the LDS church. I need to be able to go on a website where I can post a question and have people email me their response. My question is: why did they leave the Mormon Church? I'm going to use the info they give me and then research the top reasons by using my vast library of books about the Mormons… Thanks for all your help!

Hello… I'm a freshman at the University of Florida. I have a huge heart for converting Mormons. I am really good friends with six Mormons and my uncle's family is Mormon. Also, I was born in Utah and visit every year for a bit of skiing or hiking down in Moab. I love Utah so much! Anyways, I am really interested in your mission and maybe going on a mission trip during the summer. I am not really experienced with evangelism so it would definately be a huge learning experience for me.

Also, I was hoping for some advice from you as to how to evangelize to my Mormon friends here. I have been taking part in a lot of their church activities like Institute and occasionally Family Home Evening. …Anyways, I was really overall hoping for some advice from you because I totally share that same mission.

i dont appreciate that you friend request me [on MySpace] and your completely against mormonism. you dont know the first thing about it. maybe you should get your facts straight before you go and try to "convert" the "mormons" to christianity. first of all WE ARE ALREADY CHRISTIANS! We believe in God and Jesus Christ. I dont know what "false gods" you think we're following but your wrong. we worship the same God as you. And false scriptures? we believe in the Bible as well as The Book of Mormon. Have you ever even read it? i doubt it. so dont go and try and save me when you dont even know what your talking about yourself. I KNOW that what i believe is true. I know it without a shadow of a doubt. so if you have any questions about my religion ask someone who really knows cause you seriously have your facts wrong.

[I responded:] Hi Kelsey,

If being a Christian was simply a matter of believing in Christ then Muslims would be Christians. As I've already pointed out on my MormonINfo.org Home page, LDS have such a radically different god that Christians find to be blasphemous. So at best we think you're false Christians. Your argument would be like trying to claim one is a genuine Christian even if she believed her mom was Christ.

BTW, the Dallas 9th Ward bishop--Emory Powell--read my fiancée's testimony on my MormonInfo.org site, and he said, "I would like to compliment the website mormoninfo.org. In trying to distinguish between the beliefs of traditional protestant churches and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it has tried to use quotes from Church authorities with no apparent attempt to distort the message. I did not review all pages but from what I read, it appears for the most part to be fair in its presentation of what we believe. Considering the attempt by many to distort the views of the Church, this was refreshing."

Yes, I've read all the LDS scriptures sincerely, and have sincerely prayed about them, and God's told me they are false. You need to repent of Mormonism before it's too late.

Your friend,
