Last month we had our friend Katie Greene share her testimony. Great story! Watch her video at the site above and also check out the pictures.

Mission team dinnerMission team
My dad and I entertained a Christian high school mission team of 24 from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. My church (Life Church Utah) graciously provided a room for us, since the team was too large for my home. We got dinner for them, then dad and I spoke to them. Dad spoke to them about how he evangelizes LDS at his local Costco food court, and I spoke to the team about my ministry and how to evangelize LDS. This was a Maven Ministry team, our friend Dr. Tim Stratton (Free Thinking Ministries) from Nebraska was leading them.
New blog on Paula White
This blog takes on a few of the more troubling objections to Paula White being considered a genuine Christian. I address the prosperity gospel, the issue of whether Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, and the issue of self-denial.
Fig ministry
Several years ago, I got into growing figs. Last year, I began selling them and have been surprised by the interest. Each customer receives a simple gospel tract with their purchase. I usually say something like, “This is how to be right with God; He loves you.”

Dad speaking to mission teamWell, last month, this tract opened a door with a young woman, who told me that she was raised LDS, but indicated that her dad was Catholic for a while when she was younger and he later converted to the LDS Church. She confessed that she really doesn’t buy it anymore. However, she still has to identify this way and go to church regularly due to her job doing genealogical research for the Church. She’s skilled at what she does and really needs the job at this point in her life. I told her that I run a site devoted to examining Mormonism from a traditional Christian point of view, and asked if she would be interested in it. At first, she wasn’t interested in it. However, after I told her that I know many people who have taken the site and put it on their shelf only to return to it later, she said that I could text it to her.
PhD update
My school, North-West University, South Africa, requires me as an international student to pay the full amount for the year in order to be registered. I have received a Progress Bursary from the school for the past four years, and this has made my tuition very manageable. However, that bursary was only good for four years. I would be able to get a Faculty Bursary, which would pay about the same amount, but I need to have had my Research Proposal accepted. The Research Proposal normally is accepted within my first couple years. I have gone through several versions now, but the school keeps refining what they want. I think the dissertation is basically done, but I continue to fine-tune it. Last fall, my supervisor really helped with the last Research Proposal and thought it would be accepted. The other problem is that the school’s decisions on the proposals and their correspondence is extremely slow. So, please pray that 1) I would be able to pay the full amount and get registered. The due date is the end of March. 2) Pray that I would get the Research Proposal accepted soon. 3) Pray that I would be able to finish this off and graduate this year.
We need your partnership
If you’re looking for ways to store up for yourself treasures in heaven (Matt. 6:19-20), may I suggest investing in our ministry? We not only need your prayers, but we need your financial partnership as well. Keep in mind that your investment is not simply for us, but for the lives of others we reach with the gospel. The standard way to financially invest is by writing a tax-deductible check to Courageous Christians United (CCU). For more information on various ways to invest in this ministry, including online giving, please see our “Invest” page on our sites. If you’re not a partner and are blessed by these monthly updates, please join our team and let us know soon. We’d love to be your missionaries here in Utah. Many thanks to those of you who hold us up in prayer and/or in your financial giving!
Be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:6)!

Why do you think that Jehovah’s Witnesses have the lowest incomes ?
I figured that Presbyterians had high income.

[I replied:] Thanks. Haven't seen it. I imagine it has something to do with their low levels of college educated, so it doesn't surprise me.
God bless!
[He replied:] I thought that you were going to mention their low levels of education. You’ve probably heard like I do that college degrees to account for much. Universities are filled with Marxist professors, so Christian and conservative parents certainly don’t want to send their children to those schools. Charlie Kirk wrote a book about the higher education system that knocked them really good.
[I replied:] Yes, I'm aware of that, but that's a separate issue. Not all schools are this way. Many private schools are not woke. The point still stands generally speaking.
In other words, many leftists are richer. Why? Because education usually opens more doors than not. Again, of course there are exceptions.
_____________
I'd love to stand with you sometime outside of conference if you want/need the help.
[I replied:] I'm planning on going again come April. Usually come to afternoon sessions. Look for me outside Conference Center.
____________
My husband has repeatedly asked to be removed from the Church and has been given a runaround each time and not been directed on how to do this. Any insight? Thanks in advance

[She replied:] Thank you very much! I will pass along. God bless!
