Mission Trips

Tomorrow begins the first of my summer mission trips.  I head to Philadelphia, PA.  At the end of this month, our family will head to Ft. Collins, CO.

There will be another temple opening September 30 – October 22 in Hartford, CT.  So if you would like to see me ministering at this event, I need more finances to cover it.  Let me know if you are interested in partnering with this.  Given the location, this will also be an outreach to many atheists and skeptics.  Here’s a video I made explaining “Why You Should Support My Mission Work at LDS Temple Openings.”

JW Convention

I had an interesting time advertising outside the Spanish JW convention the beginning of last month.  I was across the street from the McKay Events Center in Ogden.  I parked myself in front of a home waiting for cars exiting across the street to get the best look at my sign.  The home owner comes out and asks me about my site.  I told him what it is and he thinks I'm simply about denigrating another religion, so he asks me to leave.  I told him that it's public property and I wasn't going to move.  So he turns the sprinklers on and points them out at me!  My bottom half was soaked, but it felt pretty good on a hot day!  In order to keep my sign dry, though, I had to stand in the street a little.

I told the guy he needs Jesus.  He said he had Him.  I told him there's no evidence in the way he was acting toward me.  He said there was no evidence for me and that I deserved what he was doing to me.  I told him that he should read the New Testament and see that Jesus told people they were hypocrites, white-washed sepluchres, children of the devil, and unless they repent, they would all likewise perish.  He wasn't put to death for kissing little kids on the heads and patting lambs.
The home owner then told me that I needed a permit to carry a sign.  I told him I'm well aware of my legal rights, since I carry signs all over the state.

He came back out later and told me that 2 wrongs don't make a right, and that he just didn't want people associating him with me.  I told him they'd be pretty stupid to do that, and if they do, that's their problem.

Later, he came back out again to apologize and give me a towel to keep my car seat from getting all wet.  I thanked him, shook his hand and got his name.

The next day after the convention, I went to return his towel to him.  It was obvious that people were home (perhaps they were in the backyard), but no one came to the door.  I simply left the towel and my business card at this door.

Logos Christian Church

Last month we were in Escondido, CA to report to Logos Christian Church.  They partner with our ministry, and are always very welcoming of us.  I shared what ministry has been going on and will be going on with our mission trips.  I also how I preached the basic message I shared to the crowd of LDS at the Manti Pageant in June.

Meet the Ex-Mormons Fellowship

We had Paul Owen share his story at last month’s fellowship.  You may watch his story here and see the pictures here.

We Need Your Partnership!

We not only need your prayers, but we need your financial assistance as well.  Keep in mind that your investment is not simply for us, but for the lives of others we reach with the gospel.  The standard way to financially invest is by writing a check to Courageous Christians United (CCU).  For more information on various ways to invest in this ministry, including online giving, please see our “Invest” page on any of our sites.  Please keep in mind we have no financial guarantees each month. Ministry partners come and go.  If you’re not a partner, please consider joining our team and let us know soon.  We’d love to be your missionaries here in Utah.  Many thanks to those of you who hold us up in prayer and in your financial giving!

In order to gain greater stability over our monthly budget, we need 50 people to give $10 a month.  We also need 45 people to give $25.  24 people that can give $50.  12 people that can give $100.  I'm asking you to commit to at least either 12 or 24 months.  Check back in this section every month to see how we’re doing!

We expect God to provide for our needs through you.  Why?  Because the Bible is clear: “the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:14).

I accidentally happened upon your website and I'm honestly curious why you work so hard to discredit the Mormons?  The golden rule is do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I don't think you are following that rule here.

[I replied:] I work so hard, because I love Mormons and want to warn them that following their false god/Jesus and prophets leads them to hell.  If I'm going to hell, I'd want someone to work hard at warning me as well, so I am following the golden rule.

[She replied:] Good people are good people and good people don't go to hell. I know a few Mormons and they are good people. And who even knows for a fact that there is a Hell anyways.

It doesn't seem worth all that energy you are exerting on what ifs and maybes. That's all. Life is short. Seems sad to waste it trying to make happy people unhappy

[I replied:] Jesus taught no one is good except God (Mk. 10:18).  Everyone is going to hell except for those who are saved by the One True God's grace.  Jesus knew there was a hell and most people end up there (Mat. 7:13-14).  He fulfilled prophecy and rose from the dead, so we ought to believe Him.  I'm His disciple, and I'm charged by Him to teach whatever He taught (Mat. 28:19).  Since Mormons have false prophets teaching a false Christ, I have to warn them like my Lord did (Mat. 24:24).  You need to follow Jesus, since He's what life is all about.  Your kingdom isn't worth it.  Finally, is it worthy your time trying to make me unhappy?

[She replied:] Matt7:20:
By their fruits you shall know them.

Good fruits (deeds)=good people.

Most of the Mormons I've met are good people who do many good things.  Report after report of these good deeds on line

[I replied:] I wrote an FAQ on this subject: http://www.mormoninfo.org/faqs-31/Doesnt-the-LDS-Church-pass-the-test-with-their-good-fruit-Matthew-715-20-3722.  In addition, the Bible gives 2 other tests for knowing a true prophet from a false prophet: 1) Does he teach other gods? (Deut. 13:1-5) and 2) Does he get all his prophecies right? (Deut. 18:21-22).  Joseph Smith [failed] on all 3 counts.

[She replied:] So by your standard no one is good because no one is perfect. I'm sure there are a list of several things you could pick out, about anyone, to make a list like that list on your FAQ.
So if you judge the Mormon church that way than you must use the same standard on yourself and others. Are you perfect? No? Then you must not be good (according too your standard on your FAQ). I disagree with you're logic. Even an apple tree that has mostly delicious edible fruit will have some apples that aren't good for some reason or another  (bugs, too sour, too small and undeveloped etc).

[I replied:] It's not my standard. It's what God has said in His word.  As I've already stated, I and others are saved, not by our goodness, but by God's grace.  The good fruit test is one of 3 criteria the Bible gives for testing prophets.  LDS teach a false god, have false prophecies, and have bad fruit which is inherent in their doctrine.  As a result, they don't believe Jesus, but reject Him and they and others need to be warned of false prophets.

Probably throwing pearls of wisdom before someone who doesn't give a care. Just so that you know it says in the Bible and it about 3 to 4 different prophecies the second coming of Christ is rejected. Is going to be rejected by probably about 95% of the population may be a little more maybe a little less. I know that you're still in the people are people so I know your answers are probably going to be very similar to everyone else's. I can tell you one of the reasons why the second coming of Christ will be rejected because it's not going to look The way that you and everybody is under the impression of. People are under certain impressions but maybe you're a really good got seeker I do know that in other lifetimes I was great got seekers as well who may not be considered to be very spiritual people. I will tell you in a nutshell that I grew up Catholic and I started seeking God the same exact way that Joseph Smith did only I had never heard of Joseph Smith although I have seen the book of Mormon TV commercial and I started having supernatural paranormal conscious contact with God God got me into spirituality praying the rosary yoga meditation and I started having supernatural paranormal spiritual experiences with all of the religions in general and I was told the truth about them all Klutey Mormon in Jesus Christ in God the father in an archangel by the name of Moron I told me that I'm the reincarnation of Prophet Joseph Smith and Moses and I was annoying to Christ to make 297 to be the representation for the second coming of Christ. Jesus Christ and 144,000 grateful we self realized saints with total consciousness I returned recentlyBarack Obama is the antichrist of biblical and apocalyptic proportion and I've been challenged by him my entire life ever since I was a small child. I written a book called I am here, I am now it has a light blue cover like the sky you can find it on Amazon.com it says by Christophe, that's myself. I've been trying to tell humanity for about the past quarter century so I don't expect you to listen or believe… But you could possibly be an exception one of the very few exceptions here in this world consider this email to be a godsend I'm just telling you the truth. Read my book and get back to me if you're sincere I'll talk to you you could be one of the few people to become one with God and the rapture but most likely you'll be just like all the average Lashi about there Who are under a certain impression and if it does not fit your certain impression you're going to say that it's not true. The false prophet already came along the antichrist is here now I kisses and prophecy first would come the false prophet in the antichrist and the second coming of Christ well like the title of my book I am here, I am now. Jesus Christ is also leaving messages on a website called hollow earth network.com go on the website click subscribe on the left and I'll send you his messages. Please be very respectful thank you.
You've been told.

CHRISTOPHE the Christ
(prior to self realizing the higher state of consciousness which is spoken of in the book of Mormon this is a state of happiness is a state of rest a state of peace, called paradise… Other religions called the same state Samadhi, You can Google Samadhi and we what it means)

Good Luck!

I wanted to tell you how much I was blessed by you at Logos Church yesterday!  As I was listening I felt the Lord speaking to me to come along side of you to support your ministry.  I will be praying for you and Tara… Looking forward to when you come back!
_____________

Thank you for what you do. Today in my neighborhood i was approached by Mormon missionaries for the first time in my life while on a walk, I live a few blocks from an lds institute of religion. i am not one that can have a conversation easily because of disabilities. but I was walking down the street when I saw 2 missionaries from afar, and I knew they would stop me. they asked me if I had heard of the book of mormon, and i said yes, and that i had been studying mormonism online. and so they asked me what I thought of it. and for the first time in my life, instead of just saying "i am not interested" and ignoring them and slamming the door like i was taught as a child by example, I stopped to talk as i am learning the way to reach mormons is through love and ignoring them is not love, I was able to tell them, I have learned it is not true. and that's sadly all I could say. if i was more of a conversationalist i would have loved to have talked more, asking them about grace and then sharing my version, but i get so nervous just speaking to people i know much less people i do not know.. but I am so thankful I was able to speak to them the little that I was able to. and it's in part to the mormoninfo website, and the youtube channel. I am a Christian who was studying it so that I could talk to them if ever approached and never in my life was I approached. so timing is perfect. I just wish i could have talked more. they did ask if we could meet and they could teach more but.. i live with my mom and she'd not like that so i said no. I wish i could teach them instead though. maybe some day.
