Rob preaching to the GC General Conference
The day before I advertised my site at General Conference, I had 72 total hits and 13 from Utah. The day I went out to minister at General Conference yielded 179 total hits and 77 from Utah. So, to the former Baptist, now Mormon, who asked if I thought I was doing any good outside the Conference Center... I told you! This guy said he was offended by me being out there with my sign that says MormonInfo.org/JosephLied.com. I responded that perhaps he needed to be offended to wake up.
I didn’t have as many conversations with people this time, and of those, most were short. I did have a very good short conversation with a guy at a stop light. He was perplexed when I told him that God loved him so much that He died for him. He asked, “Why would He do that for someone as miserable as me?” I replied, “I feel the same way. That’s why it’s called amazing grace!” It was like God used me to push the right buttons with this guy just before he took off.
I did have a real good long conversation with an LDS young man named Johnny visiting from New Zealand. He was quite willing to talk while waiting for his family to come out of the conference, but he wasn’t interested in repenting despite all evidence I gave him… both for the God of the Bible and for Smith being a false prophet.
Speaking of that evidence against Smith, one gal in a car asked me while I was advertising on the corner what Smith lied about. She asked while she was in a line of cars waiting to turn right. I got to rattle off a few items to her and encouraged her to check out my site before she took off.
This conference was the longest I’ve ever preached to a crowd at one time. I preached 45 minutes straight to those lining up to get into the Conference Center! You may watch that video HERE.
A few hours later, I met a Mormon guy visiting from Boston, who was surprised my voice held up as long as it did. He was very friendly and was open-minded enough to take my Jesus Christ/Joseph Smith DVD.
I also took a video of what I see and do when the crowds are passing me. You may watch that video HERE.
Rob and Kevin Deegan at GCI can’t tell you how many times I heard a Mormon say something to the effect of, “We aren’t called Mormons anymore, so you’re going to have to change your sign.” They say things like this to discourage me. I could have responded that they still use Mormon.org, so there’s no reason for me to stop referring to them in that way. Instead, I simply said, “You can call yourself whatever you’d like, and I’ll call you whatever I like.”
Huge Pageants Announcement
Just last week, the LDS Church announced that they will be phasing out some of their annual pageants. Soon after this, the word came that the Hill Cumorah Pageant in NY and the Manti Pageant in UT are on the chopping blocks. The former’s last year will be in 2020 and the latter’s will be next year.
Come to find out from Kevin Deegan, a preacher friend who always goes to the Hill Cumorah Pageant and General Conference (see his preaching video at General Conference HERE), his Mormon friend “of some repute” told him that the real reason for this was that they didn’t want their members coming in contact with all the street preachers! The directive came from Apostle Dallin Oaks, a member of the First Presidency.
Basically, they are chickening out! This follows years of land grabbing to shield their members, who, according to their own emeritus General Authority Marlin Jensen, are leaving in droves. I’d say that’s a win for us Christians who have continued to increase our numbers at these pageants while LDS numbers are way down in recent years.
There will always be other venues for publicly sharing to the Mormon masses, and we will have to refocus our energies there. This should encourage us to keep the pressure up!

Elaine Heffner came to share her story of leaving Mormonism and finding Christ. You can view that and the pictures HERE.
Temple Opening Paper
Eric Johnson of Mormonism Research Ministry has recently published a new LDS Temple Opening paper in which I contributed an article on “Determining Truth: How can We Know What is Really True?” You may view that HERE.
Review of New LDS History Book
My former director for the Utah Gospel Mission, Kurt Van Gorden, submitted a review of this new history book the LDS Church has recently published called Saints: The Standard of Truth 1815-1846. I published it HERE.
Rome Trip(s)
I have been corresponding with Pastor David Hodgdon of Rome Baptist Church since the end of July/beginning of August about the possibility of working with them for training and outreach regarding the upcoming LDS Temple opening the beginning of next year. Tara and I will be going over there this month for a week and will be meeting Pastor David and attending his church. Please pray for this! I sense God is up to something here.

Many thanks to those of you who hold us up in prayer and in your financial giving!
We expect God to provide for our needs through you. Why? Because the Bible is clear: “the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:14).

Wow, I watched your CG video. I literally had hair on my arms stand up- this was incredibly powerful preaching. The Holy Spirit was all over what you were saying. Well done, brother..
[I replied:] Thx for the encouragement! Means a lot to me! Your bro,R
[He replied:] You're welcome for the encouragement! I meant what I said- it was very powerful. Words of life passed through you, and the scripture you cited was a powerful warning to them. Like you said, they will have to stand before God one day. I will be praying for those you ministered to on that day.

Question from a Questioning Mormon
Okay, so the subject kind of gives my purpose. I am struggling with whether or not I believe in the Church. Elder Holland's talk Safety for the Soul makes a big deal of the fact that Joseph and Hyrum sought comfort in the Book of Mormon before they were murdered. I see so many problems with the Church but one thing I cannot understand is this: people aren't generally willing to die for something they know is a lie. I've had people in the Church say that as if it should solve any doubt- if Joseph believed he was telling the truth, that should be enough. Why would he be willing to die for it if he knew he had made it all up?
[I replied:] It's a great question that I've had to deal with myself. It's certainly true that almost always an individual wouldn't lie under such extreme circumstances. This is what gives the eyewitness accounts of Christ's resurrection such credibility. This is also what gives rape victim claims such credibility. Nonetheless, there are circumstances where an individual may certainly continue lying even to death.
Joseph Smith had a bad case of PMS--power, $, and sex. These things depict an individual who looks much more like a typical cultic false prophet than one who is concerned about Christ and His kingdom. I can go into detail on these things if you'd like, but I suspect you already know about them. Thus, my understanding is that Smith was so given over to his kingdom, so much so that he sealed his own fate. He wouldn't give it up no matter what. So of course he'd lie and continue promoting his kingdom because he had become so deluded with his PMS. "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely" as the saying goes. And as a result of Smith's persistent rebellion, God rightly gave him a "strong delusion to believe a lie" (2 Thes. 2:11).
Beware of false prophets as Jesus taught (Mat. 24:24)!

Hi Rob oh my gosh was that you who barely lost his voice preaching on temple square? You brave thing, you!! That was marvelous. "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." I can't before how so few of them were listening to you! The holy spirit must open their hearts. Keep declaring victory over their hardened hearts. You're doing great. It was inspiring to watch. You were very articulate and approachable-looking. Good job!!
...what was it like out there? I heard someone say to you that Jesus loves you and you said in return that he loved them too and that's why you were there. That was an awesome response. It touched me because your voice tone was so humble and sincere whereas you can tell hers was so scripted and robotic. Can I ask why you decided at that particular general conference to preach? So inspiring and touching putting the real Jesus there in the midst of all that oppression. Were you alone? I'm so proud of you :)

Hello, Rob! I just wanted to send you a quick message and thank you for all that you do. I watched your YouTube video of the sidewalk preaching/witnessing at General Conference, and it absolutely broke my heart to see people ridiculing you and ignoring you. I saw multiple people walk by you that I know personally and absolutely love, and almost all of them ridiculed you as they walked by. God's word will not return void, and I pray that those children and adults that walked by you were able to be open-hearted in some way. I pray that you threw a rock in their shoe and that they will not be able to stop thinking about what they heard from you.
Thank you for all you do and thank you for having the courage to witness like that. May God bless you!

You know, ever since God moved in the World Wide Church of God a couple decades ago I thought, whoa, I need to be praying that He will cause the sandy foundation of the LDS church to come tumbling down. So amazing to see this happening in a variety of ways and so many other things God is doing to bring His people out of that corrupt corporation. Our God is mighty to save!

[Referring to me:] it’s useless to argue with someone so ignorant and close minded.

Our HEAVENLY FATHER, and our HEAVENLY MOTHER, are (fully) (aware,) of Rob Sivulka's demonic behavior, against the TRUE CHURCH.
